Acquisitions Analyst

Iconic Recruit, with 30+ years of combined Queensland property recruitment experience, are exclusively partnered with a well-regarded development company that is looking for an Acquisitions Analyst to join their team. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new development opportunities in accordance with acquisitions strategic plan and research criteria
  • Preparing feasibilities inputs, recommendations and undertaking due diligence with the acquisition and development team
  • Assist with identifying risks and potential mitigation strategies
  • Negotiating with landowners, local councils, government and utilities
  • Engage, develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain an awareness of competitors and market activity including the sourcing, analysis and presentation of market data and information
  • Assist the company with any land opportunities and assist in securing deals and providing administration support
  • Electronic file management / Data entry and management / Database Maintenance/ Assistant Responsibilities
  • Door knocking and mapping
  • Mailout capability statement to prospective landowners
  • Maintain a strong relationship with land sales agents
  • Implement and update acquisitions and marketing strategy
You will need:
  • 2-4 years’ experience in acquisitions within the development industry (ESSENTIAL)
  • Preparing feasibility studies to establish initial project viability using Estatemaster  software (ESSENTIAL)
  • Knowledge of planning approvals and liaising with government bodies, council, etc
  • The exceptional negotiator with proven ability to achieve highly favourable deals/outcomes
  • Immaculate personal presentation and communication skills
  • The high degree of motivation, drive, energy and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Own car and full licence with a clear driving history
