Iconic Recruit has been engaged to source a shopping centre Brand Experience Executive across two shopping centres based in Mackay. The client is a well-known property landlord with centres spanning the country, so there is great opportunity for future growth and promotions.

Reporting into the Centre Manager, you will be responsible to drive the development and implementation of an innovative marketing strategy at the centre level. This role will lead the charge to ensure the marketing plan will support the Centre’s overarching strategy, be customised to the local community, generate consumer and retailer engagement and contribute to Centre’s sales growth all with a focus on the customer. You will have a true consumer and customer-centric vision in seeking ideas and identifying solutions. 

It is ideal, but not essential to possess the following:
  • 2-3 years experience in an assistant marketing manager/marketing manager role from outside the industry looking for that ‘foot in the door'. 
  • Or experience in a shopping centre marketing role is preferred.
  • Relevant tertiary education in marketing.
  • Bubbly, energetic, infectious, go-getter attitude and personality.
  • Great eye for details with a passion for marketing.

  • Event implementation and management skills.
  • Proofreading and editing skills.
  • Interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Financial acumen and proven performance to drive value and commercial results.
  • Strong organisational, compliance and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and develop/ maintain strategic relationships.
  • Good understanding of budgeting and financial reporting skills.
  • Ability to roll out creative and fresh campaigns that target the local community.
  • Self-motivator and can work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Great at building relationships with tenants, customers and internal stakeholders.
