About the role:

The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the Facilities Manager & Senior Facilities Manager in managing the overall operations, maintenance and smooth running of a shopping centre based in Brisbane West.

Duties:

You will assist with all aspects of hard and soft services, contractor induction and management, OH&S, preventative, and reactive maintenance, and have exposure to OPEX and CAPEX budget management. You will deliver small projects, assist tenancy coordination, and provide overall operational support.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Facilities, Maintenance or Operations Assistant/Coordinator
  • Strong administration and technical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk
  • Ability to learn and understand property specific terminology and confidently liaise with industry professionals
  • The ability to communicate with others and work in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise at a high level
