About the Role:
  
Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join their Asset & Retail team. This role will be responsible for supporting the operational performance, compliance, maintenance, and presentation of a diverse property portfolio.
  
Working closely with Centre Managers, contractors, tenants, and clients, you will ensure properties are maintained to a high standard while managing risk, compliance, operational expenditure, and contractor performance.
  
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Operations or Facilities Manager professional looking to take the next step in their career and further develop their experience within commercial and retail property management in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
  
Duties

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure assets are maintained to agreed operational and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate contractors across cleaning, security, HVAC, fire, and general maintenance while monitoring compliance requirements.
  • Assist with the management of operational expenditure, maintenance programs, and capital works projects.
  • Ensure compliance across WHS, fire safety, statutory obligations, contractor inductions, and risk management procedures.
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, owners, and stakeholders regarding operational matters, maintenance issues, and property performance.
  • Support budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and general facilities management administration across the portfolio.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within facilities management, property operations, or commercial property environments.
  • Strong understanding of building operations, contractor management, and property compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, Fire, and BMS highly regarded
  • Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property or facilities management systems.
