About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Facilities Manager to join our leading commercial property agency. This role will be responsible for ensuring our managed properties operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with all relevant regulations. You will work closely with landlords, tenants and contractors to deliver exceptional service standards across a diverse portfolio.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day operations across the commercial property portfolio, ensuring all facilities are maintained to a high standard
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, fire regulations, statutory inspections and environmental policies
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes, working with approved contractors to deliver works on time and within budget
• Conduct regular property inspections, risk assessments and audits, addressing any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of compliance certifications, service contracts and maintenance schedules

The skills and experience required for this role: 

• Strong knowledge of property compliance requirements including health and safety, fire safety and statutory obligations
• Experience managing multiple commercial sites with a proven ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and internal teams
• Good understanding of building services and maintenance procedures
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
