About the role:

Our client, a prominent property group, is looking for an Operations Manager to take charge of a high-performing shopping centre in Darwin.

Reporting to the Centre Manager the successful candidate will lead the operations team with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and service excellence delivering a seamless experience for customers, retailers, and contractors alike.

Duties:

You will oversee all aspects of hard and soft services, contractor induction and management, OH&S, preventative, and reactive maintenance, as well as providing support for OPEX and CAPEX budget management. You will deliver small projects, assist tenancy coordination, and provide overall operational support to the team.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Facilities, Maintenance or Operations Manager in a shopping centre, or similar
• The ability to communicate with others and work in a team environment is critical.
• Computer and financial reporting literacy
• Qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering or Building Services Trade
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk
• Excellent customer service skills and an expert in relationship building.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise at a high level.
• A passion for retail property and shopping centre
