About the role:

Join this thriving property investment business as a Senior Commercial Property Manager.

Working directly with the landlord, you will be pivotal in the future growth of this privately owned business reporting directly to the Head of Investment and working closely with the rest of the team to deliver the best possible results while ensuring high tenant satisfaction.

Duties:

• Manage lease renewals, arrears, maintenance, compliance, and contractors.
• Build strong tenant relationships, handle enquiries and disputes efficiently.
• Oversee budgets, track financials, and collaborate with the accountant on reporting.
• Support leasing, market rent reviews, negotiations, and vacancy marketing.
• Ensure proactive maintenance and full legislative/safety compliance.
• Report to Director and Head of Investments on performance, risks, and value-add opportunities.
• Streamline and enhance internal systems for scalable property management.

Skills and Experience:

• Property management experience, ideally in commercial and retail.
• Background working with or for landlords/owners.
• Solid grasp of QLD tenancy laws (retail/commercial).
• Strong communicator and skilled negotiator.
• Financially literate; confident with budgets and reports.
• Self-starter with a high sense of ownership.
• Tech-savvy; proficient in property management software.
• Holds current QLD Real Estate Licence.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
