As a Senior Town Planner, you will take the lead on small to medium-scale planning projects across Queensland – working directly with clients to deliver tailored, outcome-focused solutions. You’ll be part of a growing consultancy that values initiative, problem-solving, and collaboration, giving you the autonomy to manage your projects while being supported by a close-knit, experienced team.
 
The Role

• Lead and manage the preparation, lodgement, and delivery of town planning applications
• Provide expert development assessment advice in line with local and state legislation
• Work closely with both new and established clients, maintaining strong, professional relationships
• Contribute to diverse urban planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
• Join a collaborative team with a focus on practical, timely, and cost-effective planning solutions

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in statutory planning within Queensland
• Strong understanding of the Planning Act 2016 and associated regulations
• Degree qualified in Urban & Regional Planning (PIA-accredited)
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a solutions-focused mindset
• Customer-oriented, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Citizen
• Valid “C” class driver’s licence required
• Open to someone with less experience looking to step up into a Senior Planner position
