As a Claims Consultant, you’ll be joining an insurance business focused on delivering fair, transparent outcomes and a strong customer experience. This is a customer-first environment that prioritises quality interactions over call metrics, with a genuine focus on community and doing the right thing.
The Role
• Manage new and existing home and property claims end-to-end
• Guide customers through the claims process with clear, professional communication
• Maintain a portfolio of claims, ensuring regular updates and timely progression
• Interpret policy wording to assess coverage and apply decisions
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve claims
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the claims lifecycle
The Benefits
• $70,000-$90,000 + super + bonus (DOE) | Fortnightly pay
• Start Date: ASAP | hybrid after probation – 2 days wfh
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm – no weekend work
• Located in East Brisbane | Free onsite parking
• Full-time permanent position with sick pay and annual leave
About You
• 1-2+ years’ experience in claims handling (ideally home/property claims)
• Strong understanding of managing claims from lodgement to settlement
• Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
• Able to build relationships with both customers and stakeholders
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
