An exceptional opportunity exists for an accomplished retail property professional to take leadership of a major retail asset within Brisbane’s southern corridor.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring an experienced operator with the credibility, commercial acumen, and people leadership capability to influence outcomes across a broad stakeholder group. As the senior on-site leader, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the asset, the leadership and development of a multidisciplinary team, and the cultivation of strong relationships with retailers, contractors, service partners, and ownership representatives.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering strategic asset objectives while ensuring the centre continues to perform as a leading retail destination within its market.

The Opportunity

• Lead a large and established retail asset with significant operational complexity.
• Inspire, develop, and mentor a high-performing on-site team.
• Build trusted relationships with retailers, contractors, key stakeholders, and ownership groups.
• Drive operational excellence, risk management, compliance, and customer experience initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Partner with leasing, marketing, and asset management teams to maximise asset outcomes.
• Act as the senior representative and ambassador for the asset.

About You

You will be an experienced Centre Manager or senior retail property professional who brings a proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience within retail property, shopping centres, or large mixed-use assets.
• Outstanding people leadership skills with the ability to build engaged, accountable, and high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the confidence to influence at all levels.
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including budget and business planning responsibility.
• A strategic mindset balanced with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
