As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take on a senior leadership role driving national growth and positioning the business as a leader in emergency compliance solutions. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead strategy across sectors like healthcare, aged care, education, and property – securing new business while helping clients prepare for and respond to critical events.

The Role:

  • Join the senior leadership team and report directly to the CEO
  • Lead the national business development strategy across traditional and emerging sectors
  • Own and manage proposal strategy, submissions, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product development and market positioning
  • Represent the business at high-level industry events and national meetings
  • Deliver tailored solutions to clients across healthcare, aged care, education, and property sectors
  • Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and forecasting with high data accuracy

  • Base salary of $90,000-$120,000 + Super + Commissions (depending on experience)

About You:

  • 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven ability to close high-value, long-cycle deals in compliance, emergency services, or training
  • Strong commercial acumen and proposal writing expertise
  • Experience working nationally and representing businesses at industry events
  • Comfortable managing bids, complex negotiations, and solution-based selling
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and CRM skills
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in dynamic environments and values continuous improvement
  • A genuine passion for client outcomes, public safety, and service innovation
