The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Capital Transactions Manager to join a leading property investment platform, working closely with senior leadership to deliver investment strategy across acquisitions, disposals, and capital optimisation initiatives.

This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially astute property professional who thrives in complex deal environments, enjoys influencing outcomes, and brings strong judgement across transaction execution, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and strengthening best practice across the transactions function.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end execution of complex property acquisitions and disposals across target sectors
  • Oversee and challenge detailed financial modelling, investment analysis, and return metrics including IRR and equity multiples
  • Manage comprehensive due diligence processes across legal, financial, tax, technical and environmental workstreams
  • Structure and assess equity and debt funding solutions to optimise capital outcomes
  • Prepare and present high quality investment papers and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Drive disposal strategies including agent selection, pricing, negotiation and transaction completion
  • Provide strategic input into portfolio performance, capital recycling and investment optimisation
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, financiers, advisors and industry stakeholders.

About You

You are an experienced capital transactions or investment professional with a strong background in commercial real estate and a proven track record delivering complex deals. You combine deep technical expertise with sound commercial judgement and are comfortable operating at a senior level with internal and external stakeholders.

  • 5+ years’ experience in real estate transactions, private equity, investment or advisory
  • Advanced financial modelling and investment analysis capability
  • Strong understanding of Australian commercial property markets
  • Proven experience leading acquisitions and disposals end to end
  • Relevant qualifications in property, finance, commerce or economics
  • Professional accreditation such as CFA or API highly regarded
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
