About the Role
  
Our client is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to take ownership of a high-profile retail destination. You will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the asset, leading on operations, financial outcomes, and stakeholder engagement.

This role requires a strong commercial mindset, with a focus on enhancing customer experience, optimising income, and positioning the centre as a key retail and community hub.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management and performance of a high-volume retail centre, ensuring excellence across operations, presentation, and compliance
  • Develop and execute strategic asset plans to drive income growth, increase asset value, and enhance long term performance
  • Work closely with leasing to optimise tenancy mix, support retailer performance, and minimise vacancy
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed performance analysis
  • Drive customer experience initiatives to increase foot traffic, dwell time, and overall centre engagement
  • Build strong relationships with major retailers, specialty tenants, and key stakeholders to support trading performance
  • Lead and mentor on site teams, fostering a high performing and collaborative culture
  • Manage contractor and supplier relationships to ensure efficient and cost effective centre operations
  • Engage with the local community and stakeholders to strengthen the centre’s position as a key destination

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience managing a large-scale shopping centre or retail asset
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with proven experience managing budgets and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
