An established and highly regarded property organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Brisbane CBD team on a permanent part-time basis.
  
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate financial administration. Working three days per week, you’ll play a key role supporting a commercial property portfolio while gaining exposure to broader property finance responsibilities over time.
  
The Role
  
Reporting to the Administration Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices, including coding, data entry and month-end close-off.
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier records and documentation.
  • Preparing and issuing tenant charges and monthly statements.
  • Assisting with recoveries administration and tenant account management.
  • Maintaining accurate tenant and supplier databases.
  • Supporting month-end processes, financial reporting and outgoings administration.
  • Managing financial records and associated documentation.

About You
  
To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, Property Administration or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with accrual accounting principles and month-end processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using MRI or similar accounting/property software would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
