This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations, Facilities or Retail Property professional looking to step into a diverse portfolio role where you’ll have genuine influence over presentation standards, compliance outcomes and operational performance.

Reporting into the Portfolio Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of three community-focused retail centres, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, well-presented and welcoming for both retailers and customers.

This role offers a unique blend of operational management, contractor supervision, compliance oversight and budget responsibility, providing excellent exposure across multiple retail assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all operational services, maintenance and compliance across three retail centres
• Coordinate essential services and statutory compliance requirements
• Lead contractor management, service agreements and performance reviews
• Manage maintenance budgets, forecasting and monthly reporting
• Conduct WHS inspections, risk assessments and emergency management activities
• Respond to operational issues, incidents and urgent works
• Build strong relationships with retailers, contractors and key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to enhance presentation, sustainability and operational efficiencies

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within retail property, commercial property, facilities management or operations
• Strong understanding of WHS, compliance and building operations
• Experience managing contractors, service providers and maintenance programmes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
