About the Opportunity
  

An exciting opportunity is available for an Operations Assistant to join a collaborative retail property team supporting a portfolio of shopping centres. Working closely with the Operations Manager and broader operations team, you will play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant and well-presented assets while supporting the day-to-day operational requirements across the portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in retail property operations within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail shopping centres
  • Coordinate contractors, maintenance works and service providers across the portfolio
  • Support compliance, essential services, WHS and risk management activities
  • Conduct site inspections and follow up on operational action items
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure a high standard of service
  • Maintain operational records, purchase orders and facilities documentation

About You

  • Previous experience in facilities coordination, property operations or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Proactive, hands-on and willing to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Experience within retail, commercial or property environments will be highly regarded
