We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for a Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. This opportunity will suit someone who understands the foundations of traditional shopping centre marketing but is excited by the opportunity to think differently, embrace change and bring new ideas to the table.
  
Working closely with centre management, retailers and key stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement, increasing visitation and delivering initiatives that strengthen the centre’s connection with the local community.

This is more than a traditional shopping centre marketing role. Our client is looking for someone who is curious, commercially minded and willing to challenge the status quo.
Someone who enjoys collaborating with others, testing new approaches and finding innovative ways to engage customers in an evolving retail environment.
  
You’ll be empowered to contribute fresh thinking, identify opportunities for growth and help shape the future direction of the centre’s marketing strategy.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with centre objectives
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, events and traditional channels
  • Manage the marketing budget and provide reporting on campaign performance and return on investment
  • Coordinate centre activations, promotions and community engagement initiatives
  • Foster strong relationships with retailers, community groups and external partners

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • Previous experience in shopping centre, retail, property or destination marketing
  • Strong digital marketing and social media capability
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute ideas and challenge existing ways of working
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Adaptable, proactive and open to change in a fast-moving environment
